The Hearing Loss Association of America, California State Association, Inc. (HLAA-CA) is participating in the California Academy of Audiology (CAA) 16th Annual Statewide Conference at the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose, California, on September 10-11, 2015. HLAA-CA’s booth will provide information about HLAA, HLAA-CA, and the 18 HLAA California chapters.
The California Academy of Audiology (CAA) is a nonprofit organization representing audiologists in California. CAA monitors and promotes state legislative activities that affect audiologists and their patients with hearing and balance disorders in California and employs the lobbying group, Sacramento Advocates. CAA also works closely with the state’s consumer-focused licensing board, the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. In addition, CAA organizes an annual state educational conference. The CAA conference provides educational offerings and networking opportunities, and exhibitors showcase their latest products and services.
